Financial Planner for Individuals and their Families
Financial planning is the essential first step toward successful investing and the foundation of our relationship with clients.
Will your money outlive you, or will you outlive your money?
My mission in life is to help people make the right kind of plan so they don't outlive their money. It's a much less complicated conversation than you might expect. I invite you to have that conversation with me, without cost or obligation.
Schedule that 15 minute call below.
You need more money for retirement than you think.
Unlike many other advisors and brokers, we know that three-decade two-person retirements are essentially a problem of income, as opposed to principal. You don’t bring your account statement to the supermarket every week, you bring your income.
Establishing an estate strategy is crucial, yet many wait too long to put their wishes in writing. Use this helpful guide to review your estate strategy and start conversations with your loved ones, financial professionals, and legal team.
ValueAligned can help you figure out how much money you will need to retire, how much annual income you will have from your investments, and which shares of great companies to buy and own.
You will stop worrying about the economy and the stock market.

About Us – Value Aligned Partners (VAP)
VAP is a family-owned investment business located in Red Bank, New Jersey. We’re three professionals: a father, a nephew, and a son with deep roots in Middletown and Monmouth County.
VAP began 20 years ago in 2002.
After 16 years as a hedge fund trader and a corporate finance consultant, David, with his dad Bill, a mutual fund executive at Dreyfus, started VAP in 2002 to offer advice to his family and friends whose lives and finances were turned upside down by the Dot.com market crash in 2000 and September 11, 2001.
VAP is a fee-only investment advisory firm.
Investment advisors like us are different from financial advisors, brokerage firms, and insurance salesmen posing as financial planners. We don’t accept commissions, our fee structure is transparent, and we don’t sell any products like mutual funds or annuities.
